Wojciech Drąg is a PhD student in English fiction at Wrocław University. His literary interests centre around the works of Kazuo Ishiguro, Julian Barnes, John Banville, JM Coetzee and Jeanette Winterson. Wojciech’s love of literature can be attested by the fact that last Valentine’s Day he stalked his favourite author to his London home…

“Literary corner” is Wojciech’s weekly programme addressed to all literature buffs. Each 15-minute episode features a different text. A brief introduction to the author is followed by a reading and a short commentary. The presented texts range from poetry to short stories and novels . In the case of longer works, only a selected passage will be read. Among the many (mostly British and American) writers to be introduced in “Literary corner” are Dan Rhodes, Dave Eggers, Julian Barnes, JM Coetzee, Martin Amis, Philip Larkin, Mark Strand and Carol Ann Duffy.

“Literary corner” is also going to announce important publishing premieres and keep you up to date with the highlights and news (including juicy gossip) from the literary world.
